In short, this means that you won’t have to readjust your grind setting after cleaning the burrs and grinding chamber, and it only takes removing three screws to take out the top burr for cleaning. The screwless design of the top burr means you’re getting an extremely smooth surface for grinding, which helps cut down on retention. Plus, the Rocket Espresso Faustino is equipped with anti-vibration technology that allows it to grind very quietly.

With design changes like a new look for the dosing funnel, moving the micrometric adjustment knob from the front to the back top right corner of the machine, and a new pin to lock all portafilters in place, you’re not sacrificing quality for size. Plus, if you want to load up your coffee in advance of grinding, the Faustino’s hopper can hold up to 1.5 pounds of beans, just like the Macinatore Fausto.

A small touchscreen display keeps everything neat and simple with the option to choose between a single dose, double dose, triple dose, or manual dosing. Visually, the display has a clean design and all UI elements are arranged for easy reading. For hands-free grinding, you can just leave the portafilter in the holder, press your desired amount, and watch the Faustino dispense fluffy grounds from the chute. You can easily adjust your grind settings for a single, double, or triple dose down to 1/10 of a second. Plus, the continuous grind button allows you to manually grind when you’re trying to find the right timing while dialing in or if you need to top off your grounds.
